Holos are proud of the quality of their instructors and assessors, and have enclosed a brief resume of some of them

Alex Brazkiewicz
Alex, a field experienced State Registered Paramedic with over 13 years service with the London Ambulance Service and prior to that 7 years in the Metropolitan Police Force. When not training he still maintains his skills on Bank staff within the NHS as a Paramedic. He holds his Certificate in Education and Certificate in Paramedic Science, and has been training First Aid for over 20 years. He was certified by the Royal College of Surgeons as a Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support Instructor and is currently a paramedic assessor for the Health Professions Council.
He also holds Dan grade black belts in Aikido, Kendo, Iaido and Jo and still trains under Mike FINN Sensei, with whom he has studied under for over 20 years. Alex studied Shiatsu with the European Shiatsu School and has qualified from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine with a 1st Class BSc (Hons) in acupuncture. He has also successfully completed a year long postgraduate course on Chinese Herbal Patent formulae and currently sees patients at his clinics 2 days per week (www.eastwesthealthcare.org.uk).

Judi BRAZKIEWICZ
Judi has over 8 years experience with the Metropolitan Police Force where she received a Commissioners Commendation for saving the life of a colleague. She has been a First Aid Instructor for over 8 years, and holds her Certificate in Education and NVQ Assessing Units. Her teaching specialities are human resource specific including personal development, interview techniques and customer care. She also studies Tai Qi.
James AGNEW
Jim initially served as a Police Officer in Scotland and subsequently as an NHSTD Ambulance Technician in England, where he still currently serves responding to 999 Emergency calls. He has many years' experience in acute management of the ill and injured in the Pre-Hospital area and has over 10 years extensive, wide-ranging experience in teaching First Aid in a variety of work situations. Jim holds a First Aid at Work Instructors Certificate and a D21 Assessing Certificate. He is a National Aquatic Rescue Standard (NARS) First Aid at Work Instructor and is an Associate Member of the Swimming Teachers Association.
Toni AGNEW
Toni is a State Registered Paramedic with over 12 years experience of the ill and injured in the Pre Hospital area. She also holds her First Aid at Work Instructors Certificate and has been assessing and teaching First Aid for over 5 years. She also holds her Certificate in Paramedic Science and is currently studying for her Diploma in Paramedic Science
Tony WILLIAMS
Tony is currently a front-line firefighter and a Brigade First Aid Instructor. He has been training First Aid for over 7 years and, prior to his current position in the Fire Service he was a Royal Navy Medical Assistant. Between the navy and the Fire Service, he was an NHSTD Ambulance Technician with many years' experience in acute management of the ill and injured in the Pre-Hospital area responding to 999 Emergency calls. He holds his City and Guilds in Emergency & Clinical Care and his 7307 City and Guilds Further and Adult Teaching Certificate. HE is currently studying for his Certificate in Education.
Claude TRUDGILL
Claude is currently a State Registered Paramedic with over 20 years service with the NHS Ambulance Service. He was also a Combat Medical Technician (Grade 1) and ran a 20-man medical team. He is also a Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Provider and has been teaching First Aid for many years. He currently holds is City & Guilds Teachers Certificate (7307), his NVQ C23 / C24 Teaching Certificates and his NVQ D21 / D32 and D33 Assessing Certificates.
Kevin POHLE
Kevin was a Critical Care Paramedic in the Transvaal, South Africa where he had over 8 years experience of the ill and injured in the Pre Hospital area. He was also an Aeromedic, achieving "Gold Wing" status for over 500 hours flying time within the Ambulance Service. He has many years experience of teaching First Aid both in South Africa and in the UK and he is currently a UK Resuscitation Council Advanced Life Support Instructor. Kevin is also a martial arts practitioner and includes Tae Kwon Do amongst his disciplines.
