HSE Approved First Aid at Work course- duration 4 days

This is the definitive first aid course, as approved by the HSE for candidates wishing to practice First Aid at Work. There is a maximum class size of 12 per Instructor. The qualification is recognised within the UK, enabling candidates to carry out accepted First Aid procedures in their places of work.
The course covers Resuscitation, management of the unconscious casualty, Bleeding control, together with the causes and management of Shock, Asphyxia, Medical Conditions, Burns, Fractures, Poisons and also details current First aid legislation. An independent, qualified person will examine each candidate at the end of day four and, if successful they will receive a certificate, (valid for 3 years) and will be recognised as a "First Aider" under the Health & Safety (First Aid) Reg. 1981.
