HSE Approved First Aid at Work Refresher course- duration 2 days

This course is the approved two-day refresher for those candidates who hold a VALID, IN-DATE First Aid at Work qualification by the HSE (not necessarily issued by Holos Healthcare & Training Services)
.The course covers Resuscitation, management of the unconscious casualty, Bleeding control, together with the causes and management of Shock, Asphyxia, Medical Conditions, Burns, Fractures, Poisons and also details current First aid legislation. An independent, qualified person will examine each candidate at the end of day four and, if successful they will receive a certificate, (valid for 3 years) and will be recognised as a "First Aider" under the Health & Safety (First Aid) Reg. 1981.
